What is BAM?
BAM is a multi-user superhero roleplaying game.

Have you ever wanted to write your own comic book series? Our World is your opportunity. Don't have an artist to bring your characters and stories to life? Love writing, roleplaying games, and superheros? BAM is for you!

Born from the idea of pro wrestling efeds, in BAM you roleplay as a new superhero character that you create or from our BAM gallery of characters that will soon populate. Each roleplay will be its own comic book. No roleplay deadlines! Develop your characters and stories at your own pace.
How it works.
To apply as a new writer with BAM, visit our forums and submit a pilot comic to be published. Unfortunately not everyone will be published. It is paramount to maintain continuity in the universe we create. In order to maintain that continuity, submissions will be looked over by 'The Keeper' to decide if you belong in Our World.

'The Keeper' decides who belongs in Our World, how much power they wield, and what story continuities belong and which don't. Our World has an evolving story that will see larger scale characters that have vast powers appear over time. However, most beginners to Our World will only be given a certain amount of super powers by 'The Keeper' to start with. More super powers can be earned over time as 'The Keeper' sees fit. After all, 'The Keeper' ... keeps order. Abuse of these super powers may result in 'The Keeper' not keeping you, but keeping order instead.

BAM roleplays will consist of, at least, a front comic book cover and your text based roleplay. Like in the world of pro wrestling efeds, you will select a pic base for your hero or villain. For example, 'Future' will be our first main hero. His pic base is DC Comics character Booster Gold. This artwork is used for roleplaying game puposes only. You are welcome to bring art to your comic book anyway you'd like as long as it's legal and not offensive.

Once 'The Keeper' decides you belong in Our World, you will enter into an agreement to write an individual book, a series, or an event with your created character or an existing character not currently being written for in Our World.

Characters you create and bring to Our World will either be LOCKED or UNLOCKED. If you lock a character, only you may write for that character throughout the character's existence. If you unlock your character, anyone else may also write for this character in the future after your current agreement is up. Unlocking characters is recommended so we can see evolution of characters and allow fun for everyone writing in Our World. However, you certainly may lock a character if you feel only you can write the character as it should be written.

The biggest rules are have fun, be respectful, and create a fun vibrant superhero world we can call our own. Our World.
